American Idol Fashion Fails

I’ve always admired Fantasia for overcoming so much in her life and enjoyed her performances when she was a contestant on American Idol. Her voice is sensational but this outfit it not WINNING. I rarely ever post fashion fails but I couldn’t resist. No seriously, there are so many things wrong with this costume that I hope she reaches out to a stylist for her next performance. I still love you Fantasia.

Here’s another angle for your viewing pleasure.

Haute Momma JLo has a fit, incredible body but this ensemble is NOT the business. I love the sequins and sparkles on the harem pants but together with the top just doesn’t do it for me. Jennifer has style but this was not her A game. Again, JLo you’ve proven time and time again that women get better and more fly over time but this is a NO.

I will admit I could use some abs like hers…just saying.

Chaka Khan, please tell me this was an accident and your real outfit was lost on the plane ride to LA? Wow, when I saw this sequined cat-suit I scratched my head thinking what happened but then I realized even divas make mistakes. Surely, the Queen of Funk had other options…right? I must say I LOVE me some Chaka but I did not love this. First off, it’s nearly the same color as her skin and it just doesn’t compliment her.

On the other hand her hair is fly! I’m adoring her burgundy mixed with rich pink hues. She pulled it off and not many stars can do that.

Singer/Songwriter/ DJ Solange Knowles handled the tunes at last night’s 2012 MoMA Party In The Garden Benefit. She was spotted in semi-risque’ yet trendy green floral-garden printed  skirt that is actually half hot pant with the matching coat all by designer Flaminia Saccucci.
