Welcome to MajorDilemma! Here you can find some examples of my work, current projects, and more. I am a professional writer based in Los Angeles, CA. I love attending creatively inclined events, fashion shows, concerts, sports, health and reporting on them. My projects have been featured on Examiner.com and DailyFill.com, and Home, from Home Show. My passion for what I do continues to grow each and every day.
I love life, painting with acrylics, UFC and Karaoke. I am available for covering events and taking photos.
Born in Hayward, CA, and raised in Sacramento, CA. I have two sisters (Brandie and Amanda) and two younger brothers (Kwaun and William). Early on, I developed a love of writing, in fact my mother bought my first diary when 5. By the age of 14, I had several journals, a couple diaries, a published poem and a few short stories. My family always encouraged my active imagination and expression through the written word. Upon graduating from high school, I entered the Business school at California State University, Northridge. I competed on the Matador track and field team. I graduated in four years and landed an internship at Slingshot Labs as Marketing Social Media Journalist position. Awesome company, and I learned to utilize many different facets of social media to spread my ideas.
Little did I know how the recession would affect my life, but I kept pushing and decided to work on my passion, writing. On my journey I’ve learned that the old saying still stands true, “Closed mouths don’t get fed.” I’ve continued to find my voice as a writer and expand my resume one day at a time.
I am currently a freelance writer in Los Angeles. I love to meet and be around people, not only do I learn an abundance from others but I’m able to catch the latest trends, too.
I am always open to new projects. No job is too big or too small.
