Yesterday I was nominated by AmOoNa who has an addictive blog named Fashion Tarts Blog (Luvv it, check it out), for the ‘One Lovely Blog Award.’ I was so excited to be nominated and to know she actually likes my blog. Seriously, it means a TON that you check in with what I’m interested in etc. So, I want to THANK AmOoNa profusely for recognizing my blog and me. I realize my blog covers a plethora of topics from fashion, to style to sales and more and it’s very encouraging when I get an award to keep on pushing. I started blogging as an outlet and I’ve enjoyed the ride, I hope that you continue on this journey with me too and see where we end up =).

I will quote AmOoNa because I feel the same way, “I would like to send out my sincere appreciation to every person out there, wherever they may be, that takes a moment out of their day to check out my blog and see what I have to say. It truly means the world to me.”

First Lady Michelle Obama Attends the Kids Choice Awards in Style

The First Lady always looks beautiful and she brought her A-game and her adorable daughters (Malia and Sasha) to attend Nickelodeon’s annual slime-fest, the Kids’ Choice Awards where, Michelle presented the Big Help Award.

This year the worthy recipient was none other than singer/songwriter Taylor Swift for her charity work with flood and natural disaster survivors around the world.

As always Michelle looked classy and gorgeous only this time she was wearing leather pants, designed by New York-based designer Wes Gordon plus a shimmering houndstooth top.
