Actress and America’s Next Top Model winner, Eva Marcille attended the BET Awards ’12 at The Shrine Auditorium on July 1, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Marcille glowed in white and showed off her lengthy limbs. I love her earrings, make-up and her all-around sexy summer look.

L.U.V. is a new women’s apparel collection inspired by the day to night wear of the 60’s, 70’s and 80s.
The signature look for this season is a short romper but the entire collection is comprised of jumpsuits, fitted and flowy dresses and one pieces in an array of fun colors.
L.U.V. is designed to hug every body at all the right angles. And the best part of all… every piece in the line retails for under $100!
With California inspiring the color and New York, the silhouette, the collection encapsulates the California lifestyle with an east coast sophistication that is current and trendsetting.
This is the first L.U.V. collection to launch with retail prices ranging from $40 to $100 in boutiques throughout the US and online at their home site www.luvdesigns.com.
It was a busy night but I managed to stop by a swanky, eccentric loft in Downtown LA where the Los Angeles Fashion Council Homecoming Event was held. I arrived a bit past 10 but it was still going on.

I ran into TwoPointOh LA founder and blogger, Kelsi Smith. Speaking of which I should join ASAP! She looked amazing with the accented bright orange belt and as always rocking her smile.
I met Lindsey who is not only a photographer but a menswear designer. Isn’t she fabulous? Love the red lipstick!

Sunday March 13th at ACE Gallery on Wilshire at Concept LA Fashion Week was the location of Skingraft’s private press & media sneak peek at the dark, goth-luxe men’s and women’s collection. It was well represented by ebony shades, leathers, and feathers. The presentation encourages fashion fans to get in touch with their inner sexy by exploring a more covered up ensemble that incorporates edgy pieces and a skin-tight silhouette. One model had feathers on her leather jacket and it was reminiscent of Natalie Portman’s costume in Black Swan.
Each model had a carefully crafted head-piece that resembles a skunk that added an animalistic persona to the garments. Ultimately, Skingraft is a fall fashion collection that everyone should have a piece in their closet from. It will transform and ordinary outfit in to an extraordinary skin hugging ensemble and allow the canvas to channel one’s inner rebel.
