The Earnest Sewn Co.’s ”Outpost” has introduced a space to get a premium denim brand for a bargain. Starting this month, Earnest Sewn’s off-priced 300 square foot Outpost will embrace their full-priced retail store at the Malibu Country Mart with discontinued pieces from past seasons at prices as low as $99.00.
“We always pride ourselves in doing something different, and no one at the Malibu Country Mart is doing this,” says Retail Director, Brandon Gladden.

The jean, made from Japanese Denim produced exclusively for The Earnest Sewn Co., has “finished selvedges”, with the edges of the denim finished as part of the weaving process by the antique shuttle loom, preventing the edges from unraveling. Creative Director, Benjamin Talley Smith, recently released the mid-rise skinny Esra jean in a vivacious series of brights this Spring, and has now evolved it with an encore debuting his limited edition, Cotton Candy jean!
“Although I’m excited for the launch of the brights series, I wanted to put a spin on the colored denim trend, and introduce something cool and original to the market. A jean only some can pull off. I love that each cotton candy jean has a different blueprint of color stain, making no two pairs the same,” says Smith.
